Salon Policies

-We book our appointments on length of hair and amount of time needed as opposed to traditional gender-based pricing. It is crucial that everyone feels safe here at Spruce regardless of where you fall on the gender spectrum. 

-Our front desk staff is happy to help answer any questions you might have about setting up an appointment. Please reach out to us (919-797-0179) if you have any questions.

-A credit card will be required and kept on file when booking all appointments. We have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. In the event you need to cancel or move your appointment please let us know 24 hours prior to the appointment. Due to the nature of the beauty industry we must maintain a stringent missed appointment policy. All missed appointments will be charged 50% of their total service cost in the event of a no show or missed appointment with less than 24 hour notice. We may also need to charge a cancellation fee if your appointment is drastically changed at the time of the service (i.e. deciding last minute to only get a haircut when booked for a balayage and haircut.) 

-We are proud to provide exceptional service. If you are not completely satisfied with a service provided please notify us within 7 days in order to have it resolved promptly. You may be required to return to the salon for a consultation before any adjustment of your hair can be scheduled.

-Arrival 10 minutes or later to an appointment may require rescheduling and may result in a no-show charge.

-Our short hair cut appointments are booked for between 30-60 minutes arriving more than 5 minutes late to a short hair cut appointment may require rescheduling and a no-show charge.

-Any retail product purchased from Spruce Hair Salon may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of purchase. If a product is returned after the initial 14 days, salon credit will be offered or the product may be exchanged for a different product. 

-Service dogs are welcome, but we ask you to refrain from bringing your pets to your appointment. 

-We accept all credit card types at Spruce Hair Salon, please no cash or personal checks. 

-We pride ourselves in providing a space that is as inclusive and safe as possible. We will not tolerate bigotry or hatred of any kind. We reserve the right to ask any individual to leave or to not return in the future.
